Welcome to my business blog.

Hello My name is Anthony. I am making a business, I think the making and the planning is coming along great.

I learn something new on repairing a mobile device everyday. My very first repair went great besides a couple of things. 1. Is when I replaced Iphone 8 plus screen the home button did not work after the repair. I will share why down below. #2. On my iphone 8 plus I had a real hard time getting the screws out of the bottom of the phone, you might be wondering how did I get the screws out, Well I went a bit extreme and went out side to was the side of a building and broke the LCD of my old screen and broke the bottom portion of the old screen to get into it. I wish I didnt because I couldn't test to see if the new screen had the problem with the home button or if i messed up the home button part of it. The touch id still works with the home button but it does not read me pushing on the home button. I would NEVER do a customer's cell phone like that. I would never treat someone else's phone like I would if it was mine. I will treat your device with care like it is a new born baby. So you might be tired of reading about my bad screen repair that I learned my lesson from.

On a iPhone 5S and newer, if the original home button of the device is damaged or replaced, the touch id function of the device is permanently lost. This disables functions such as unlocking your phone with a fingerprint and using Apple pay. The reason for this loss of function is that Apple encrypts the home button to the CPU of the logic board of the device for security. This prevents the potential vulnerability of the home button being replaced and someone being able to access passwords and payment information via the fingerprint scanner.      On an iPhone 7 and newer, not only is the touch id function permanently lost when the original home button is damaged or replaced, but the function is lost as well. This is because the home button on the newer iPhone models is not actually a mechanical button- it works by sensing when your finger is pressing down on it. On an iPhone 8 and 8+ if the original home button is not present or damaged during the boot process prior to iOS 12, the device will not fully boot into the home screen. If the original home button is damaged, installing a different OEM home button will allow the device to fully boot; however, it will take approximately 5 minutes to do so and the home button and touch id function will not work. During a repair, damage to the home button may occur.
